Noah Jones Next space probe we send off into the cosmos we should include this whole album. I have played music with Augustine on occasion but I still feel like a simple stan in awe of his songwriting ability and raw honesty. Love this album.

Going alone departing from my Earth to find a different home and feeling no pain in my sleep I slept deep Three weeks Learning to wait crabs evolve in puddles left by tidal waves by a river I once tried to step in twice to find the water had rearranged and that I had aged but I guess time is strange Half of life is trapped in types of pain In a hungering for a thing that you can't explain Carbon is trapped in trees until a flame sets it free one day I still have dreams of an abundant place

After this, after all of it froze they found sounds of the Earth on a Voyager Probe You're at a bus stop waiting with an elderly lady and an ad with young models at a party they staged If you stand in a crowd and you wait for a train while the crowd grows younger but you feel the same age, do you feel like a weathered face in a sea? All the others might miss it but you're more than that to me Light takes fuel so they took to the sea and they stabbed through the heart what could sing and could breath Now in the night they could finally read and they planned out our cities and they wrote down their dreams So now you stand in a crowd and you wait for a train while the crowd grows younger but you feel the same age, do you look at your dark thoughts and think they're obscene? All the others might miss it but you're more than that to me After this After all of it froze, all the things that you wanted and the people you've known Your telephone number and stray hairs in the drain and the ways that we talked and the things that we'd say When we'd stand in crowd and we'd wait for a train while the crowd grows younger but you feel the same age, do you feel like flesh full of unmet needs? All the others might miss it but you're more than that to me

A page ripped and scribbled in with words blue ink With words I could change things, I think Your eyelashes your loud laugh the ways that you speak were ways that I knew you, I think Water runs so quickly down the sink Starlight can't penetrate the cityscape but blinks somewhere out there, I think Your worn glove, a photo of the moment when you blinked and I fell for you then, I think Water runs so quickly down the sink

Today is the grass growing over the pain felt in the past Every drop of rain that hangs from a single blade can sustain new life The ways that we change learning how to be here while we're here and not to be afraid nothing can change the way I know at the center of the earth it glows where no living thing can go On the ground where we lay everything that feels solid is only the momentary shape of a wave Until the outline dissipates and evolves and creates new life If the past were erased if nothing that we expected to come to be ever really came nothing could change the way I know at the center of the earth it glows where no living thing can go If we're only links in a chain a million letters that move through the world being rearranged nothing can change the way

Crumbs on a kitchen table Hoping that you're doing well If everything were to be ending who would be the one you tell Points moving on an axis The bed where all your nights were held When you saw your body naked what were all the ways you felt The day that I met you was New Year's Eve when I looked in your eyes and saw my life about to change and I can hear your songs coming back across the New Year's that have passed until today The clothing that you chose, the way you wore your hair that day, all the bitterness and pain that informed your gentle ways There's a feeling that betrays me when I hear somebody saying your name Hoping that you're doing well If everything were to be ending who would be the one you tell Points moving on an axis The bed where all your nights were held When you saw your body naked what were all the ways you felt The day that I met you was New Year's Eve and even how our lives came to connect I don't completely comprehend But then you took me by the hand and showed me places that I've tried to find again I can find the point upon the map that marks a place where you once lived and I can even imagine all the trees that live and die through the centuries in between where I am and where you've been, but they're only imagined in my mind I see through living rooms of strangers living stranger lives than mine Take out the trash and feed the kids and feed the cat and kill the mice Oh love of mine Are we coming up upon the ending of a song with the beginning of the universe on cable Crumbs on a kitchen table Hoping that you're doing well If everything were to be ending who would be the one you tell Points moving on an axis The bed where all your nights were held When you saw your body naked what were all the ways you felt
